Our Story

The only reason Mindvolt was ever able to exist in the first place—let alone endure for 25 years—is the internet. How else are you going to stay afloat when you start an advertising agency in small-town Alabama?

One of our very first clients was Arnold Palmer Golf, designing and building websites for the golf courses in their portfolio, and we did it all remotely. In fact, we worked with them for two full years before ever meeting in person. And this was 1999, mind you. We obviously weren't worried about Y2K. *Puts on sunglasses and shoots fingerguns.*

Mindvolt was built on the belief that location shouldn't limit possibility. If you have online access and produce great work, you can serve clients anywhere—from anywhere. In 2020, we decided to go fully remote, now with Birmingham, Alabama as our home base. For us, it felt less like a shift and more like a natural evolution. After all, we were built for this from day one.

I started Mindvolt because I love working with passionate, talented, creative people, and I want to do that every day. I'm proud of putting that culture at the center of Mindvolt.
